New windows door and curtain walling all powder coated and glazed with high performance low E DG units with argon gas filling & warm edge spacer bars.
The school were looking to achieve a sheltered area within the playground and commissioned the steel framed canopy to which we installed patent glazing bars with laminated safety glass panels to create this large area shelter within the playground. Powder coated aluminium bars were chosen in order to match the steel frame.
Conversion of a shipping container into a coffee shop was the brief. We fitted smarts architectural aluminium series profiles from the Smartwall series of thermally improved commercial screening and doors. With anti finger trap hinges side stiles, low level easy access threshold and overhead concealed closer with 90 degree hold open facility. Working alongside Walter West Builders on the redevelopment of the church we installed Smarts Architectural aluminium profiles form their SC Frame curtain walling, Smartwall thermally improved doors & Alitherm window suites. Glazing was of high importance to have solar control capabilities but with minimal visual impact so Sunguard Super neutral high performance solar control units were the preferred choice. Doors incorporated anti finger trap hinge side stiles to prevent the risk of trapping between the door & jamb, low level easy access thresholds were fitted to facilitate easy entry & exit by wheelchair users. Manufactured using Smarts Architectural aluminium profiles powder coated grey with low E DG units and argon gas filling. The frame was made using SC frame curtain walling with slide series horizontal sliding window, with coloured look-a-like panel to corners to conceal steel posts
Probably our most challenging of projects to date. The curtain wall framed corner turning the building 90 degrees with a 45 degree slope both at the top and bottom this allowed the building owner to be able to observe both sides of the building without having to leave their office
